The CN Tower is over 1,800 feet tall and when it was completed in 1976 it was the world’s tallest free-standing structure, a title that it held for 34 years until the completion of Burj Khalifa tower in Dubai in 2010. It remains the tallest free-standing structure in the Western Hemisphere and a signature icon of Toronto’s skyline, attracting more than two million international visitors annually.
